Overview of the Institution:-
Kaplan in Singapore is part of Kaplan Inc., one of the world’s most diverse education providers and is the largest subsidiary of Graham Holdings, formerly The Washington Post Company. Its three entities in Singapore, namely Kaplan Higher Education Academy (KHEA), Kaplan Higher Education Institute (KHEI) and Kaplan Learning Institute (comprising Kaplan Financial and Kaplan Professional) serve more than 30,000 learners from across 30 countries worldwide.

It is the only education provider in Singapore to be awarded the 4-year EduTrust certification for all three of them. This certification is awarded by the regulatory body of the private education sector in Singapore known as the Committee for Private Education (CPE), part of SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

Location & Facilities:-
Today, thousands of students are enrolled into Kaplan Higher Education Academy in Singapore, pursuing full-time programmes ranging from English and Foundation programmes up to Diplomas, Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programmes.

Kaplan offers entry to over 300 Degree programme. Students are taught and assessed in many different ways such as group work, individual assignments, examinations and online quizzes. Our lecturers consist of industry practitioners who is able to impart practical and real-world examples and skills to enhance the students’ learning for them to be career-ready. Likewise, the lecturers from some of our renowned university partners will also fly in to conduct lessons for the students.

Kaplan’s very own classroom of the future, The Synergy Pod, integrates the latest technology of a 75-inch Interactive Whiteboard, 55-inch LED flat screens and tablets to bring a visually stimulating, immersive and engaging learning experience for our students to. With development of more than 400 original videos of proprietary content and online quizzes, our lecturers are able to deliver lessons using the blended learning approach. Kaplan 2 city campuses, PoMo and Wilkie Edge are located right in the heart of the city, near to 5 MRT train stations.

Scholarships:-

KAPLAN SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

Kaplan Scholarship Scheme awards scholarships to students who have done well academically to pursue their Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programme at Kaplan Higher Education Academy. Students need to meet the following pre-requisites set by Kaplan Higher Education Academy to be eligible for the scholarship scheme.

Scholarship Scheme

With effect from 1 Jan 2010, students need to meet the following pre-requisites set by Kaplan Higher Education Academy to be eligible for Kaplan Higher Education Academy’s scholarship scheme.

Scholarship Amount for Top 3 in a cohort:

  • No. 1 in the cohort: $10,000
  • No. 2 in the cohort: $7,500
  • No. 3 in the cohort: $5,000

Criteria:

  • All modules must achieve an attendance rate of 90% and above.
  • All modules must be passed at first attempt.
  • All modules must achieve an average mark of 85.
  • Student must be enrolled in either a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programme by Kaplan’s partner university after completion of their Kaplan Diploma or partner university Bachelor’s Degree programme respectively.
  • Student has paid the first instalment of the respective enrolled programme. The scholarship amounts will be credited into the programme fees of the Bachelor or Master’s Degree programmes the students have enrolled in. Students need to pay the programme fees Kaplan Higher Education Academy Web Profile for Representative according to the payment plans, until the remaining programme fees sum up to the respective scholarship amounts.

Avail of our Career Development Series (CDS) , which is a framework designed to help students and graduates enhance their employability and stay relevant in the workforce. Learn how to write impactful resumes, score in interviews and manage self through a range of developmental workshops, career counselling and coaching under the CDS framework.

The Career Development Series (CDS) is a 3-dimensional career advisory series of developmental workshops, previews, talks, individual or group career counseling/coaching steps to help prepare you for industry. Learn how to enhance your employability and stay relevant in the workforce.


Likewise, Kaplan also organises events such as Career Fair to allow our students meet with prospective employers. The fair offers an opportunity for students have a face-to-face meet up with their potential employers and find out more about abut their career paths or job opportunities that is available for them. Students can enhance their employability and also hone resume writing and interview skills through career coaching workshops.
