Our Son was to appear for his class XII examinations in April 2018 and
we were looking for undergraduate courses at Universities abroad
providing quality education at reasonable expenses. We checked and found
Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong to be expensive, hence narrowed down
to Malaysia.
Malaysia has been known for quality education at reasonable prices,
after browsing through websites of several Universities we selected
Curtin University Malaysia Campus. This University is in East Malaysia
on the Borneo Island in the state of Sarawak.
Curtin University Malaysia have an authorised representative in India
namely A. R. Educational Consultants based in Chennai, India. Ms.
Anandhamohana is the Director.
We contacted Ms. Anandhamohana and informed her about interest in
securing admission for our Son at Curtin University. She guided us
through entire process, filling up the forms, documentation, payment of
fees, medicals and finally VISA approval, hostel accommodation.
She was so proactive; always pushing both us and also University in
getting all the documentation done in time so that the dead line could
be met.
Our Son has now started his B.Comm course double majors in Finance and
Accounts since 30th July 2018. We had gone to Sarawak to set him up
there. Curtin University has a beautiful campus, surrounded by nature
(green trees and a lake). For the new students they have on campus
accommodation.
The University has good and experienced faculty for all the courses
they offer. The advantage is the students have access to the topics that
are being taught by professors at their Perth Campus through e-student
accessibility. The degrees conferred are by Curtin Australia.
Curtin University Malaysia Campus has students from many countries
worldwide. We were fortunate to meet some students from India, Pakistan,
Brunei, Zimbabwe, Korea, Indonesia etc..
Personally we feel Ms. Anandhamohana and the marketing manager Mr.
Nicholas Lau of Curtin University Malaysia should promote this
University in India so that students can benefit for getting quality
education at reasonable price.
