Steps to be followed to get into an Australian University:
|

 |
Apply to the university and get the offer letter |
 |
Apply for the passport if you don’t have it. |
 |
Take up the IELTS exams. (If preparations are required, go for IELTS coaching classes.) |
 |
Apply for the student visa at the Australian High Commission (AHC), New Delhi. |
 |
Undertake medical check-up |
 |
Preliminary visa approval (PVA) from AHC. |
 |
Once the PVA is approved pay the first semester fees to the university and get the Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) or receipt. |
 |
Original passport and CoE (Receipt) must be sent to the AHC for the final visa stamping. |
 |
Book your flight tickets |
 |
Arrangement must be made for the airport pick up and temporary accommodation. |
 |
Student must enroll in the international office of the university. |

Please note that the duration for the visa processing is between 10-12 weeks. The student must lodge his student visa application 3 months before the commencement of course. |

Students who have successfully completed 2 years study in Australia can remain in Australia under New Skilled Graduate Temporary Visa for 18 months to gain additional skills they need. |
